Talent Acquisition Manager

Katy, TX

The Talent Acquisition Manager creates, implements and leads talent acquisition strategies and efforts to support organizational goals and priorities. This position drives and extends the company’s employment brand and continuously evaluates and seeks to improve processes, outcomes and customer satisfaction through the full-cycle talent acquisition process. Leads a team of recruiters to successfully identify and deliver qualified candidates to the business. The person in this role is responsible for their own requisitions and will actively recruit and source talent to fill openings.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Participate in the establishment of recruiting requirements by studying organizational plans and objectives; meeting with business and human resource leaders to forecast needs; and understanding job descriptions and corresponding qualifications required of job candidates

  • Will manage his/her own requisitions and successfully recruit talent for assigned business units

  • Lead the team in recruiting for multiple locations across the United States.

  • Create and manage the talent acquisition strategy for the organization to most effectively source and engage qualified candidates

  • Build meaningful relationships with leadership to ensure business alignment and create an environment of trust that allows for transparent and efficient processes, along with making presentations and maintaining rapport

  • Collaborate with the HR community to ensure alignment with current business needs and capabilities

  • Lead and develop recruitment team to continually improve skill sets and personal development

  • Implement best practices to attract and recruit diverse talent including use of technology, social media, community outreach, military, educational, professional organizations, referral networks and outplacement agencies

  • Ensure compliance and reporting for all federal and state specific hiring practices

Required Qualifications :

Required Education, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources Management or related area

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a high-volume recruiting environment and 3+ years proven leadership, managing, and coaching experience

  • HR Certification such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM a plus

  • Experience in agency recruiting a plus

  • Ability to recognize root cause of issues and to proactively develop solutions

  • Flexibility to accommodate different personalities and professional work styles

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to organize work and prioritize projects to meet deadlines

  • Experience selecting search firm vendors and negotiating contracts

  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems

  • Strong communication/collaboration skills

  • Strong relationship building/consultative skills
